To maintain your teeth for life, it is essential to minimise plaque and tartar level, which is difficult to remove with everyday brushing and flossing. The frequency of visits needed depends on the circumstances of your oral care and ability to keep your mouth plaque and bacteria free.

Before your Treatment

Brush and floss thoroughly: While our team will remove the hardened plaque that you could not reach at home. Maintaining your daily oral hygiene routine ensures we can focus on the deeper clean.
Hydrate well: Drink water helps keep your mouth fresh and comfortable during the appointment.
Discuss concerns with our doctors: Let us know if you have sensitive teeth, gum issues or any medical conditions!

After your Treatment

Avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes if fluoride was applied: This gives the fluoride time to strengthen your enamel.
Choose soft foods for the first few hours: Your gums may feel a little tender after a deep clean.
Continue brushing and flossing gently everyday: Good daily habits prevent plaque from building up between visits.
Stay on track with recall visits: Our team will remind you when it’s time for your next examinations, teeth scale and clean treatement, usually every 4-6 months depending on your individual needs.
